Silvia has more than 18 years of experience working with enterprises and organizations of all sizes. She has worked extensively with executives and entrepreneurs on a consulting basis, launched her own businesses, and worked with Fortune 500 companies and forward-looking non-profits such as the Utah Microenterprise Loan Fund and the Goldman Sachs 10K Program. Her love for entrepreneurs began in 1999 when she worked as the Assistant Director
She holds an MBA with an emphasis in International Business from the University of Utah and a bachelor’s degree in International Business from Westminster College.

Oswaldo Peralta immigrated to the United States from Perú with the desire to study engineering. He graduated with an Associates of Arts degree from the College of Eastern Utah with a high GPA; and then transferred to Brigham Young University, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science degree with a major in Computer Engineering and a minor in Computer Science. During his time there, Oswaldo tutored students in Engineering and Programming. He has also studied Accounting, Finance, and Marketing.

Front Desk Coordinator
Donaji was born in Tijuana, Mexico. She moved to Utah in 2006 and since then her priority has been to help the Latino community. She has belonged to groups for mental help in Salt Lake City. Donaji is certified by NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) in “teaching NAMI among peers” and is a volunteer with pro-Latino activists in the city. She is also involved in support groups for adolescents against abuse and suicide.
Some of her passions are professional makeup and baking.
Teachers and Advisors
Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from Weber State University, and a Master’s degree in Community Economic Development (CED) from Southern New Hampshire University. Tim has conducted extensive research on CED among Hispanic populations and published his Master’s thesis(Microenterprise development: A targeted focus on helping Hispanics achieve higher earning potential through business development)in support for his findings.Tim has worked professionally in non-profits for the past fifteen years with a variety of programs and focuses but has always been involved with the Hispanic community, including teaching ESL classes, providing bilingual case management, outreach, and social justice advocacy. Tim presently works as the Program Director for Peace House in Park City and oversees the clinical and shelter operations for domestic violence victims.
Ivan Díaz holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the Universidad EAN and a Master’s Degree in Information Systems from the University of Utah. Ivan has been a teacher and advisor at the Suazo Center for over 5 years assisting students and clients to develop and manage their business plans, use computer technology (such as Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and basic computation.), and apply principles of online marketing, pricing, and logistics to their respective businesses. He currently works as PRGM Analyst FSOP at Swire Coca-Cola, USA.
Alfonso Ayala is a co-founder of Zynergia, a Digital Marketing Agency in West Jordan, Utah. He is a seasoned marketer with 16 years of experience in the marketing and visual marketing industries. In Zynergia, his focus is on assisting businesses with their branding, graphic design, and online marketing needs. He understands the pulse of the creative industry and has helped many organizations meet their marketing and sales goals. He studied Graphic Arts at West Valley Community College in Saratoga, CA.
Alfonso was born and raised in Mexico City. He is fluent in Spanish and English and has had experience designing and marketing for general audiences, as well as for specifically Latino audiences. He lives in South Jordan, Utah with his wife Deborah a Montessori School Teacher and their three children; they enjoy going on hikes and on road trips together. Racquetball and cooking are some of his hobbies.
